Goals<br />To promote participation in local, national and international conferences <br />To encourage IRA and MaRA membership <br />To raise awareness for the International Reading Association’s support for professional development for educators, curriculum reform, classroom innovation and the life-time reading habit – all of which can contribute to breaking the cycle of poverty and improving the lives of individuals<br />To encourage classroom teachers to engage in research and publish their results in order to find answers to the questions about the teachers’ practices and the growth of the students <br />To promote quality of instruction  <br />To raise awareness about the &quot;Literacy Skills of the 21st century&quot; and Social Media. <br />
