NETWORKANDCONNECTIVITY8 NOR TH Network & Connectivity The proposed site is situated in the proximity of three modes of transport. • NPR • METRO ROUTE • REWARI-DELHI RAILWAY LINE The Dwarka Expressway or Northern Peripheral Expressway is an eight-lane, expressway being developed by the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) at a cost of Rs 120 crore. This expressway is a part of Gurgaon-Manesar Master Plan 2031 (Urban Complex Plan) and will connect Dwarka to the NH 8 and will have 30 metres of green belt on both sides. This will be achieved through the addition of green belt areas, an increase in the residential units and commercial spaces and improvements in connectivity with Delhi. NORTHERN PERIPHERAL ROAD (NPR) A new Metro line has been proposed connecting Dwarka, IGI Airport and Gurgaon. In the operational aspect, the authorities propose to make it a replica of the Delhi-IGI metro link. This line will reduce the travel time from Dwarka to Gurgaon to 15 minutes and Delhi tp Gurgaon to 30 minutes. The proposed network will help bring the Central & West Delhi closer to Gurgaon and will also take load off the existing Metro line as well as reduce traffic congestion on NH 8. METRO Indian Railway has approved Railway Electrification between Delhi & Rewari.
