Global Warming

 1. 1.
 2. 2. GLOBEL WARMING
3. 3. What is Global Warming

Global warming is an increase In the earths average temperate. When the earth gets to hot the ice caps will melt.

Why is it happening?

Due to the observerd incrase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations via an enchange greenhouse effect. Natural phenomen such as solar variation combined with volcanoes probably had a small warming effect from pre-industrial times.

4. 4. Main Causes of Global Warming
5. 5.

Greenhouse gases
 6. 6. Aerosols and soot
 7. 7. Solar variation
 8. 8. Industries
 9. 9. Vehicles
 10. 10. Deforestation

Greenhouse effect
The greenhouse effect is the process in which the emission of infrared radiation by the atmosphere warms a planet's surface
11. 11. What is weather

Weather DefinitionWeather is the day-to-day conditions of a particular place.

What is climate?

What is Climate?
 12. 12. Although climate is oftenly used with the word weather , it is something quite different. The climate is the common, average weather conditions at a particular place over a long period of time (for example, more than 30 years). We learn about different climates around the world. Deserts have a hot and dry climate while the Antarctic has a very cold and dry climate.

Greenhouse gases.

For example, CO2 , CFCs,
H2O, Methane, HCFCs, etc..

Deforestation

Slash-and-burn agriculture,
Excessive pasturage,
Acid rain, Commercial felling
etc…
13. 13. Effect

Extreme weather

Tropical Cyclone, Drought,
El-Niño, La-Niña,

Sea level rises

Melting ice caps,
Shore Erosion,
14. 14. Effect

Desertification

Aral Sea, Australia, Gobi,
Sahara,

Infectious disease

Dengue-fever,
15. 15. Most People Believe
Global Warming Exists
16. 16. Steps To Decrease Global Warming
And
Save Our Planet
17. 17.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
 18. 18. Use the "Off" Switch
 19. 19. Plant a Tree
 20. 20. Buy Energy-Efficient Products
 21. 21. Encourage Others to Conserve

Our Earth is
becoming sick.
Let us take care
of it, as it has
taken care of us.
22. 22. Thank You!
