Michelle Smithis an award-winning media strategist and media trainer with nearly two decades of communications experience who is consistently recognized for her work by both her clients and peers. Ms. Smith was named by The Dallas Business Journal as one of the area’s Top Minority Business Leaders for 2008 and The National Urban League's Urban Influence magazine has called her one of the country's “Maverick CEOs” and "Women of Influence.” She was also named as one of D/FW’s “40 under Forty” rising business stars by the Dallas Business Journal (2005)and named to the same honor as a top community leader by the Dallas Furniture Bank (2009). Smith was also named among the best media trainers in the business by Fast Company magazine in 2002. Prior to launching the agency, Ms. Smith was vice president of media relations at Ketchum Public Relations where she has managed and executed award-winning work in the technology, consumer, corporate, publishing, entertainment, media relations, and crisis and issues management practice areas.
