  4. 4. Baffles FIRE PERFORMANCE General: Rockfon ceiling tiles have a core of stone wool. Stone wool is non- combustible with a melting point of more than 1000°C. Reaction to fire: Fibral and Opal Multiflex Baffles: Class A1; Hygienic Baffles: Class A2-s1,d0 in accordance with EN 13501-1. HUMIDITY RESISTANCE AND DIMENSIONAL STABILITY Rockfon Baffles are dimensionally stable even at humidity levels of up to 100% RH and can be installed at all temperatures ranging from 0ºC to 40°C. No acclimatisation is necessary. LIGHT REFLECTION Fibral Multiflex Baffles 77% diffuse light reflection; Opal Multiflex Baffles 64% diffuse light reflection; Hygienic Baffles 85% diffuse light reflection. All in accordance with ISO 7724-2. HYGIENE Stone wool has no nutritional value and therefore it provides no sustenance to harmful micro-organisms. CLEAN ROOM CLASSIFICATION Hygienic Baffles are classified as Class 5 in accordance with ISO 14644-1. CLEANING Fibral and Opal Multiflex Baffles: The surface can be vacuum cleaned with a soft brush attachment. Hygienic Baffle: The surface can be vacuum cleaned with a soft brush attachment. The surface can also be cleaned once a week using a sponge or cloth and warm water (max. 40°C) with a slightly alkaline detergent (max. pH 10) without alcohol, ammonia or chlorine. Cleaning with a damp sponge or cloth may render the surface slightly shinier and we therefore recommend cleaning the whole surface evenly for best results. The surface can be foam cleaned once a week. Spray foam onto the surface at low pressure. Let it work for 5 minutes and then sluice or wipe clean. Soap solutions should be 1:100. The surface can be high pressure cleaned once a week. Max pressure should be 65 bar at 1 metre distance, and water should be spread at a 30º angle. Soap solutions should be 1:100. ENVIRONMENT A representative selection of Rockfon products have been awarded the Indoor Climate Label and the Finnish Indoor Climate Label (M1). Rockfon Baffles are recyclable.
