  1. 1. A war time Diary...
  2. 2. 3rd August 1940 I finished school. It was a long day but I enjoyed it. My mum picked me up at school. When we were talking about what I learned today at school, the German troops attacked us! We went to the cellar quickly and stayed there but my father stayed outside to protect us. We were so scared. Then, we heard a shot. My mum told me that I had to stay in silence. When the troops went out I saw my father on the floor with blood on his body. I ran quickly to help him! But when I saw him I realized that he was dead. It was the worst day of my life.
  3. 3. 25th October 1942 The troops of Germany captured the parents of my friend Patricia, so, she stayed with my mum and me in my house. As Patricia was staying in our house, we had to work a lot to find food.
  4. 4. 2nd December 1942 My birthday 10 came! I received a new diary! I was so happy. I invited some of my school’s friends. It was so cold but we enjoy a lot. My BIRTHDAY!!
  5. 5. 26th July 1943 Today it’s the first day that we do an experiment. It was so interesting. Some friends were boring but the others paid attention. Today we learn a lot of science .
  6. 6. 8th May 1945 The war finished!!! We celebrated a lot. All the people of Poland were celebrating. When I saw those people celebrating I started to cry because I was so excited. Then I hugged my mother and I started to celebrate with all the people
  7. 7. 74 years later...... Now I have three children and five grandchildren. Today I visited the tomb of my father. All the memories of my friends, the school and my parents came to my head. I miss those moments when I used to play with my friends and when my father or my mother took me at school. Those were the bests moments of my life.
