  2. 2. Educational Requirements Must have a high school diploma, GED, CDA, Associates Degree in ECED or similar field. Must be working on a CDA with in the first year of being a lead teacher.

Job Descriptions Must be able to create and carry out a lesson plan Be able to observe childrens behaviors and developmental milestones and create developmental plans through the observations Keep records such as developmental checklists Promote literacy, read to the children and encourage reading to them Promote good health and hygiene Create a good learning environment Assist with bathroom needs Be able to communicate with children and fellow teachers Build relationships Support children’s emotional and social development Must meet state minimum training hours yearly
