Core ideas <ul><li>Year 10 Literature focuses on the ideas of text, novels, plays and poetry and how they interact with society. </li></ul><ul><li>It deals with universal themes such as love, betrayal, passion, loss and madness and how the tales told reflect the world and issues of the time they were written. </li></ul><ul><li>How these themes and issues are still relevant today. </li></ul><ul><li>It investigates the relationship between reader and text, and how we in the 21 st century change the way a text is viewed by the people we are today and the lives and world we live in. </li></ul>
