  2. 2. Taxation <ul><li>We will investigate the reasons for taxation in Australia </li></ul><ul><li>the types of taxation used in Australia, with a particular emphasis on the Personal income tax system. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Investment opportunities for individuals <ul><li>We will consider a range of investments available to individuals and how they are different </li></ul><ul><li>We will consider how investments generate returns and what affects them </li></ul>
  4. 4. The Stock Exchange <ul><li>We examine how the stock exchange operates </li></ul><ul><li>We play the simulated Stock Exchange Game to apply what we learn about the stock market </li></ul>
