  • Hi my name is Ms Czirok and this presentation gives you an overview of SMART the Sha Tin College Moodle.
  • Your account allows you access to coursework, lesson information, quizzes, tests and homework tasks for each and every subjects. There are tabs at the top with futher information including an important link to the library.Your teachers will be asking you to log onto SMART to complete homework tasks and to upload them for feedback and marking. You will also need to use SMART to access you Google and Gmail account – which you need to check at least once a week.
  • When you select a category for example: Using SMART, this will take you to more menus which lists subjects and courses. Each course has the teachers responsible for the moodle course. These yellow bands at the top and bottom of the page are the breadcrumb trail, basically it allows you to see where you are and to easily step back to another part of the course and to the SMART home page. When you start to a new course (this is the name given a new topic or project in Moodles), you will be asked to enroll as a member – select Yes. If the course is for another year then you will not be able to access it usually.
