We use different softwares, not impressed with
Primavera. We think its expensive & complex.
• There is no pride or glory in using so many different tools if you can
use just one for all your projects.
• Primavera may appear expensive & complex to you if you start doing
everything by yourself. However its output reports are not as complex
as you might think.
• We offer customised solutions tailored to your needs which brings
down the cost as you would normally incur by retaining someone
throughout the duration of the project.

How many people work in your company?
• As many as you need
• Do you hire or retain people and pay them without having work for
them? No company would in the long run.

Do you do everything in Primavera?
• No
• Primavera is a vast suite of applications & we only provide services
using the Project Management Professional module.
• Its other modules such as Timesheet, EPPM, Risk Analysis etc. are
generally used on large projects which require constant resource
deployment to monitor project progress whereas we provide
customised solutions on as & when required basis.

• Have you considered “Early Consultant Involvement”? Hiring us right
from the beginning of the Feasibility/Tender on as & when required
basis can go a long way ensuring project success.

companies in there are our business
partners/friends/involved in the projects. Would
you compromise?
• Absolutely Not. It’s a Lifetime Guarantee not to do business with
those in the “Exclusion List” under any circumstances.
• Our “Exclusion List” has been prepared considering many factors and
after careful reasons based judgement.
• We are happy to help you out in other projects where those
companies or people are not involved.
• If we do find out that these companies or people are in someway
affecting our performance, this will constitute reasons for separation.

You are saying you provide services in the building,
construction, mining and oil & gas sectors. These
are quite big industries. Can you do everything in
these industries? What are your limitations.
• No body can do everything anywhere.
• We complete a “Customer & Project Profile” every time you call us in
for a service request. This profile has several questions and a SWOT
analysis which enables us to identify what information do you have
and what needs to be done & whether or not we are able to deliver
it. Only when, we are confirmed of our abilities to do the requested
task we prepare Agreements. So, don’t just assume that we are ready

We are kind of getting picture that your services
would be “cheap” if you are offering so many
savings. Is it really? Where is the catch?
• No & No. We are not cheap & there is no catch.
• Our pricing model is reasonable and is customised according to your
needs. You may actually end up paying a lot more to other companies
if you have compared. You may also end up spending more if you
permanently hire someone throughout the year or duration of the
project.
• We do not intend to take all the earnings from just one client but
rather focus on working on multiple projects for multiple clients thus
enabling us to reach our target Turnover without charging our clients
excessively.

How do you analyse project performance during
the course of our work? Do you use any other
tools apart from Primavera?
• Project performance analysis depends on what you want to achieve
or what your clients want to see and how. Some clients or projects
have project specific control protocols & procedures and many have
nothing. We can sit down with you & work out, how can we make
things better rather just measuring performance as a software
output.
• We currently do not use any other softwares apart from Project
Management Module of Primavera. We may however expand our
services to include other suites of applications as their demand
emerges in the market depending on our affordability.

Do you have any joint ventures, alliances or
partnerships with other companies to help you
out?
• No
• Its not necessary to have JV, Alliances or Partnerships unless the
project is really large to demand such a business tie-up.
• However, we do have a wide reach to professionals from all spheres
across the world and believe in hiring on as & when required basis so
that we can charge you reasonably & not just inflate the price by
saying that we are so big and have so many JVs etc. from that part of
the world when its not needed actually and doesn’t help the cause in
any way.

We see that you have “Referral Services” as
well. How does that work?
• Referral Service is not our primary service but is structured this way :
• You tell us the detail of the type of lead/candidate you are looking for
from which part of the world.
• We search our network of professionals and make some suggestions.
• For every person which you qualify as accepted, there is one time
charge.
• Should you wish to engage that person, you will be charged
separately per person depending on what type of lead it is.

• To be honest, there are many companies whom you will hire & tell
them what to do but there aren’t too many who will evaluate what
you have, what needs to be done, whether its achievable and if yes
make it affordable for you.
• Do you have a USP yourself? Do a presentation like this with some 70
questions and you will realise if you are unique or not.

We have heard rumours and stories about you.
We think its risky to hire you or your company.
• There was a rumour that the world was coming to an end in 2012. Did
it happen?
• If you hire a company which has had no rumours or stories but
actually doesn’t meet your expectations, what would you do then?

• It’s a good idea to trust facts based insights & not just stories. Truth

We will sue you and take you to the court should
you try to be smart or double-cross? Are you
ready for that?
• No one wants to do that without specific motive, purpose or reason.
• If you have been harmless to others, expect no harm from others but
you will appreciate that defence is a necessity.
• Arbitration & disputes would be the last thing to happen between us.
If it so happens, as we have a strict “No comeback policy”, we will add
you to our “Exclusion List” and never do business with you again. This
will extend to your alliances, joint ventures, sister concerns, divisions
& related body corporates.
• Our business insurances will protect ours & your losses should it
happen at all.

How has been your previous performance as
a company?
• We are from the construction background. We believe in making the
foundation strong first rather than just go “sale, sale, sale”.
• Although, we had projected some sales in our first year, our spirits
were challenged by the slowdown in the construction & resources
industries from the outset itself. We take consolation in surviving
through the period while many companies have wrapped up or scaled
down beyond expectations.
• This has given us the opportunity to learn & acquire business skills
and expand our network which can be utilised in other businesses as
per our growth plans.

Your charges are not affordable for us.
• You will appreciate that you are not hiring an individual but hiring a
company.
• On one hand, we have office running expenses, insurances, computer,
softwares, wages and numerous other expenses and on the other
hand we are missing out on benefits such as leave loading, annual
leave, sick leave, public holidays, super-annuation, compassionate
leave, bonus etc. which you would generally grant to an individual.
• If you compare “Apple for Apple”, you will realise that you would
actually pay more to other companies out there for the same thing
and may not be satisfied actually.

We are concerned about our data security.
• After signing the agreement, your data becomes our data as we
would own the IP Rights. Our logo itself is Trademark Registered for
10 years and any type of infringement can be challenged and
compensated in the courts.
• Besides we do have Business Insurances to protect you from these
types of losses.
• We have dedicated Data Management Plan. We back up on regular
basis on hard drives and on the cloud which needs two-step
verification. Its nearly impossible for someone to get hold of your
data unless someone breaks into our office or cloud security.

How about your customer service? We see
that you will not work beyond normal hours.
• We focus on “Quality of service” and not sticking with you all the time
without reason or need.
• If you have given us sufficient information, we should be able to do
the job within normal hours. However, if it so happens for our existing
clients only that a dead emergency situation has aroused, we may be
able to help you out depending on what it is but there are no
guarantees as we intend to have many clients and believe in work life
balance for our staff.
• If you are doing planning in urgency, you are stacking the odds against
your project’s success so make sure what you are looking for is real.

We do hire planners but they are site-based.
Your services are based in Perth.
• Unless required as per your agreement with your client, its not
necessary to have site-based planners because site-based planners in
fact work in the site office, they are not site managers or project
engineers.
• If you have the information available and are clear about what needs
to be done, it shouldn’t be a problem. We are living in the digital age
where information reaches before our flights do.
• Our services are currently based in Perth but we have global
expansion plans catering to the need of our clients on as & when
required basis depending on the market demand & affordability.

Where is the “Trust Factor” in your company?
• “Criminal” is a person no different than others unless proved guilty.
Prove to us that you cannot trust us for so & so reasons and we would
be happy to give satisfactory responses.
• Our conduct is fair, legal & proper and complies with all local &
national laws. We have gone into business after thorough market
research & 100% probability of success in the long run. It was even
approved by the Federal Government. Our prices are reasonable &
services are customised. We even have a Trademark and a Press
Release. We are on all popular social media and our network has

professionals worldwide. You deal with a real person whom you can

Even if we hire you, we won’t be able to pay
you on weekly basis. How will you survive?
• We will not survive for sure.
• We are a Small Business. When you go out for dining or do shopping, do
you not pay upfront? Or do you tell them that your business pays on credit
always. This may be the case of long-term understanding or partnerships
but in most occasions you pay on time which can be instant or a definite
period. In our case, it is weekly.
• You will appreciate that there are businesses when you go out to deal with
ask for a Bank Guarantee or Letter of Credit or Security in some form or
Deposits or Pre-orders, we are not asking for any of these as our spectrum
is broad to include other small businesses like us to hire us on a case by
case basis. If we develop long lasting relationships, we may relax.

What will we do if you take the job and escape
somewhere leaving us in an awkward situation?
• We are not here to escape somewhere rather we have global
expansion plans so that we can serve you wherever you are in a much
better way.
• If we had to escape, we had not gone into business and invested and
tried to survive through this slowdown period when many businesses
have actually wrapped up or scaled down.
• We would sign a legal agreement which would enable you to catch us
no matter wherever we escape if that’s what has to happen at all.

We do need planning but we can only hire as our
employees, we never give it to outside company.
• Hiring a company has many advantages over hiring employees such as
you pay salaries & wages to your employees, arrange office access,
inductions, travels, accommodation in some cases, computers,
softwares, trainings etc. Then you give them Fringe Benefits as well as
leave loading, annual leave, sick leave, public holidays, super-
annuation, compassionate leave, bonus etc. Your Cost to Company
(CTC) is quite high compared to what we charge you as a company
despite the fact that we have office running expenses, insurances,
computer, softwares, wages and numerous other expenses If you
compare “Apple for Apple”, you will realise that you would actually
pay far more to your employees for the same thing and may not be
satisfied actually.

Where is your physical office if we have to
reach you in emergency?
• Our physical office as per the records of ASIC is in East Perth however
for the purpose of privacy we have been using Level 3, 267 St.
Georges Terrace as our Mailbox address. This is a serviced office and
has facilities for meeting rooms and Day office on as & when required
basis.
• Depending on how & when would you like to meet us or what are the
project specific requirements, we would scale our space requirements
accordingly.
• So, in case of emergency, do drop us an email or call us, we would be
happy to help you out however we do not handle urgent jobs
regularly.

Sorry, we are concerned about your capacity
to handle the volume of work we do.
• How do you know what our capacity is? Have you dealt with us previously?

check back in two months time?
• “No worries” is the Australian phrase for it.
• However we can sense if your response is genuine or not. If you have
valid reasons to ask us to check back with you after such a long
period, we would surely do that. But if it turns out that you intended
to say “No” but couldn’t say it rather postponing for such long time so
that we understand what it means, not only we would never contact
you again, we would remove you from our network and CRM so that
you are not able to contact us again. We believe in fair business. You
need it , you need it. You don’t need it, you don’t need it. There is no
point giving false hopes to someone by uselessly postponing the talk.

What will we do if you take work from us and also
working for our competitors on the same project?
• If you go out to dine somewhere and your business competitors also
turn out there, do you leave the restaurant? Or do you ask the
restaurant to not serve them or if serve at all, add poison to their
food?
• Its common sense. We do consultancy business and not conspiracy
business. Be rest assured, we would never swap or exchange any kind
of data in any form from one company to another to cause intentional
harm to any party.

Method Statements that you would ideally expect.
So how will you work then?
• We are not Quantity Surveyors or Project Engineers or Site Managers.

How do you hire people to work for your
company? We need to know that we would get
the best talent.
• We have “Candidate Pre-Interview Screening Questionnaire” which we ask
all the applicants to complete and send it to us with their CV for a fair
evaluation. This Questionnaire has points based scoring system to compare
“Apple for Apple” so that only the best ones are selected for interview.
• Once the candidates have been shortlisted for interview, each of them
would be checked against their ability to communicate with us & our
clients. Besides there would be Technical Questions as well to test their
merit.
• Finalised candidates would then be sent for “Pre-employment Medical”
• For work if required to outsource, we search our network and follow the
same procedure except for Medicals which we leave on the outsourcing
firm to make sure they are fit to provide service to us.

• PMI standards are the norms these days however its good to stick to
them if they make our work & life simpler, easier, organised and
profitable otherwise we believe there is more paperwork and
unnecessary non-productive effort on it.

How would you manage multiple projects or sub-
projects which are in different versions or in
different softwares?
• We only use Project Management Professional Module of Primavera
P6. So, if you have multiple projects or sub-projects information in the
XER format , we can bring that in to an integrated schedule.
• However, if you have different projects in different softwares, we can
only help you by importing them into Primavera and exporting back
into XML, XER, MS-Project or Excel formats. We do this to make a fair
comparison of all the projects on the same platform and ensure the
integrity of the whole development or your organisation.

How much time do you need to complete
program for a project?
• It will take as long as it takes.
• We prepare agreements on hourly billable basis and not lumpsum and it
really depends on what information is available to us & what needs to be
done. Quite often our clients have a date in mind and they ask us if we are
able to do this in that timeframe. We conduct a thorough check and SWOT
analysis to see the viability.
• However, if you have to tell your clients when would the program be ready,
the answer to that question can only be given after completing “Customer
& Project Profile”. But, if you are too much pressed for time, we might not
be able to help you out. If you are doing Planning in urgency or to put
pressure on us or cut cost too much, you are likely to stack the odds against
the success of your project.

• There are more assumptions to make during Feasibilities & Tenders
than any other phase of a project life cycle. So, we intend to prepare a
program narrative which details what assumptions have been made
in the programs.
• As & when, new information comes in or more data is available, the
list of assumptions is updated to reflect that program is aligned with
the reality.
• For Tenders, we intend to seek if you have any existing database of
information from previous projects to make sure program works the
way your organisation works and not many other companies out
there.

• Yes & No
• As we have been saying, we do a SWOT analysis to see the viability of

Do you have a database for productivity?
• No
• Productivity varies from activity to activity, module to module, project
to project and company to company. One company doing one project
completing a particular activity in a module may not achieve the
same productivity in another corner of the world for same activity.
• We rely on open-source databases of Productivity and assumptions
made by the Estimators, Quantity Surveyors, Project Engineers & Site
Managers. If you do not have such information handy, we may have
to seek outside help which can just take longer so the best idea would
be to tell us whatever information you have when we complete the
Customer & Project Profile.

Can we recommend a candidate to get
trained under you?
• Our Coaching/Training services are very limited as we are not a
Registered Training Organisation.
• The reason we have this service listed in our Service List is that when
we go out to work in our client’s offices, quite often their staff start to
learn how we doing it and then it is seen that our scope to provide
services is suddenly limited as their staff becomes competent which is
a harm to our business. So, what we intend to say that we are not
running an amusement show when we are working in your office so
there is no point learning commands & procedures by watching what
we doing but if you are really interested in learning, please take our
Training/Coaching Service & pay us to learn what you want to learn, it
does not come bundled with our consultancy service for free.

Can you give us a “Ballpark Cost” for your
services for our projects?
• No
• Our services are priced on hourly basis and it takes as long as it takes to
complete programming for a project.
• Quite often, we are unable to conduct work because information is not
available so we do not want to put ourselves at disadvantage by
committing a cost and then spending more hours on it due to no fault of
hours.
• Also, it is seen that work becomes unexpectedly complex and taking for
ever, so we may have to issue a Rate Variation to you should that happen.
• But, we assure you that our charges are very competitive as our solutions
are customised to what needs to be done. We would never over-charge
you unnecessarily or unreasonably.

How would you handle work pressure? We may
occasionally come up with unexpected work
without prior intimation.
• We believe in Fair Work principles.
• If unexpected work without prior intimation is a one-off emergency
case, we might be able to help you out but you will be charged for
Urgent Services. And this we can do only for our existing & reliable
clients.
• However if we are getting urgent works every now & then, this would
reflect poor mis-management & our services would be limited.
• If you are looking to squeeze too much out of us by creating artificial
pressure , we would be able to sense it and would seek separation,
may be we will never do business together again.

We know that you can do scheduling. How good
are you in handling cost control? Its money we are
after finally.
• We do cost control to the extent it can be done in Project
Management Module of Primavera P6 and using spreadsheets as
supplements.
• However, we are not Accountants or Costing Engineers and this
module has some limitations in terms of costing so please do not
expect everything to be perfect but we are able to control through
other processes such as databases & manual data extraction &
verification.
• Should there be need to hire Billing/Costing Engineers, we would
discuss with you at the outset or as we progress through the project
being reasonable with you at all times.

How would you handle Forensic & Claims where
information is not organised or not complete as
you would expect.
• This depends on how far do we need to dig deep into the information pool and
what’s feasible to achieve.
• If the Claims has to go to the Adjudication process through the courts, we would
need validated records as proof anyway. We also know that a fair comparison or
claim happens when we compare “Apple for Apple” and not “Apple with Banana”.
• Quite often programs are in different formats or softwares so we align them all
into P6, sometimes we may need to recreate the program so that it can be
compared with the “As-Built program” for window analysis or dispute resolution.
• Forensics is really something which we learn & developments become clearer as
we progress. If reasonable data is not available at all, we would certainly not say
“Yes” to you when we know that it’s a “No”. But we have reach to professionals in
the field who are experts should there be a need & we discuss along the way.

• We are indeed an Australian company. We believe in making the foundation strong

cherished global expansion plans. So, we have invested our resources & energy from the
outset in spreading the word and building the network than just “Sell, Sale & Sail”
• We have gone into business after thorough Market Research with 100% probability of
success so there is no point escaping from “success”.

you will appreciate that many companies have scaled down or disappeared from the
Western Australian market due to slowdown in the resources sector. We have survived

We think its expensive & complex. • There is no pride or glory in using so many different tools if you can use just one for all your projects. • Primavera may appear expensive & complex to you if you start doing everything by yourself. However its output reports are not as complex as you might think. • We offer customised solutions tailored to your needs which brings down the cost as you would normally incur by retaining someone throughout the duration of the project. Do you do everything in Primavera? • No • Primavera is a vast suite of applications & we only provide services using the Project Management Professional module. • Its other modules such as Timesheet, EPPM, Risk Analysis etc. are generally used on large projects which require constant resource deployment to monitor project progress whereas we provide customised solutions on as & when required basis. It’s a Lifetime Guarantee not to do business with those in the “Exclusion List” under any circumstances. • Our “Exclusion List” has been prepared considering many factors and after careful reasons based judgement. • We are happy to help you out in other projects where those companies or people are not involved. • If we do find out that these companies or people are in someway affecting our performance, this will constitute reasons for separation.   • 10. You are saying you provide services in the building, construction, mining and oil & gas sectors. These are quite big industries. Can you do everything in these industries? What are your limitations. • No body can do everything anywhere. • We complete a “Customer & Project Profile” every time you call us in for a service request. This profile has several questions and a SWOT analysis which enables us to identify what information do you have and what needs to be done & whether or not we are able to deliver it. Only when, we are confirmed of our abilities to do the requested task we prepare Agreements. (2) Are you able to utilise your planning staff to their full capacity only in planning and not in other tasks? (3) Are you happy with the output that you or your clients are getting out of planning?   • 12. We are kind of getting picture that your services would be “cheap” if you are offering so many savings. Is it really? Where is the catch? • No & No. We are not cheap & there is no catch. • Our pricing model is reasonable and is customised according to your needs. You may actually end up paying a lot more to other companies if you have compared. You may also end up spending more if you permanently hire someone throughout the year or duration of the project. • We do not intend to take all the earnings from just one client but rather focus on working on multiple projects for multiple clients thus enabling us to reach our target Turnover without charging our clients excessively.   • 13. How do you analyse project performance during the course of our work? Do you use any other tools apart from Primavera? • Project performance analysis depends on what you want to achieve or what your clients want to see and how. Some clients or projects have project specific control protocols & procedures and many have nothing. We can sit down with you & work out, how can we make things better rather just measuring performance as a software output. • We currently do not use any other softwares apart from Project Management Module of Primavera. Do you have any joint ventures, alliances or partnerships with other companies to help you out? • No • Its not necessary to have JV, Alliances or Partnerships unless the project is really large to demand such a business tie-up. • However, we do have a wide reach to professionals from all spheres across the world and believe in hiring on as & when required basis so that we can charge you reasonably & not just inflate the price by saying that we are so big and have so many JVs etc. from that part of the world when its not needed actually and doesn’t help the cause in any way. How does that work? • Referral Service is not our primary service but is structured this way : • You tell us the detail of the type of lead/candidate you are looking for from which part of the world. • We search our network of professionals and make some suggestions. • For every person which you qualify as accepted, there is one time charge. • Should you wish to engage that person, you will be charged separately per person depending on what type of lead it is. Are you ready for that? • No one wants to do that without specific motive, purpose or reason. • If you have been harmless to others, expect no harm from others but you will appreciate that defence is a necessity. • Arbitration & disputes would be the last thing to happen between us. If it so happens, as we have a strict “No comeback policy”, we will add you to our “Exclusion List” and never do business with you again. This will extend to your alliances, joint ventures, sister concerns, divisions & related body corporates. • Our business insurances will protect ours & your losses should it happen at all.   • 21. How has been your previous performance as a company? • We are from the construction background. We believe in making the foundation strong first rather than just go “sale, sale, sale”. • Although, we had projected some sales in our first year, our spirits were challenged by the slowdown in the construction & resources industries from the outset itself. We take consolation in surviving through the period while many companies have wrapped up or scaled down beyond expectations. • This has given us the opportunity to learn & acquire business skills and expand our network which can be utilised in other businesses as per our growth plans. Your charges are not affordable for us. • You will appreciate that you are not hiring an individual but hiring a company. • On one hand, we have office running expenses, insurances, computer, softwares, wages and numerous other expenses and on the other hand we are missing out on benefits such as leave loading, annual leave, sick leave, public holidays, super-annuation, compassionate leave, bonus etc. which you would generally grant to an individual. • If you compare “Apple for Apple”, you will realise that you would actually pay more to other companies out there for the same thing and may not be satisfied actually.   • 23. We are concerned about our data security. • After signing the agreement, your data becomes our data as we would own the IP Rights. Our logo itself is Trademark Registered for 10 years and any type of infringement can be challenged and compensated in the courts. • Besides we do have Business Insurances to protect you from these types of losses. • We have dedicated Data Management Plan. We back up on regular basis on hard drives and on the cloud which needs two-step verification.   • 24. How about your customer service? We see that you will not work beyond normal hours. • We focus on “Quality of service” and not sticking with you all the time without reason or need. • If you have given us sufficient information, we should be able to do the job within normal hours. However, if it so happens for our existing clients only that a dead emergency situation has aroused, we may be able to help you out depending on what it is but there are no guarantees as we intend to have many clients and believe in work life balance for our staff. • If you are doing planning in urgency, you are stacking the odds against your project’s success so make sure what you are looking for is real.   • 25. We do hire planners but they are site-based. Your services are based in Perth. • Unless required as per your agreement with your client, its not necessary to have site-based planners because site-based planners in fact work in the site office, they are not site managers or project engineers. • If you have the information available and are clear about what needs to be done, it shouldn’t be a problem. We are living in the digital age where information reaches before our flights do. • Our services are currently based in Perth but we have global expansion plans catering to the need of our clients on as & when required basis depending on the market demand & affordability. We have gone into business after thorough market research & 100% probability of success in the long run. It was even approved by the Federal Government. Our prices are reasonable & services are customised. We even have a Trademark and a Press Release. When you go out for dining or do shopping, do you not pay upfront? Or do you tell them that your business pays on credit always. This may be the case of long-term understanding or partnerships but in most occasions you pay on time which can be instant or a definite period. In our case, it is weekly. • You will appreciate that there are businesses when you go out to deal with ask for a Bank Guarantee or Letter of Credit or Security in some form or Deposits or Pre-orders, we are not asking for any of these as our spectrum is broad to include other small businesses like us to hire us on a case by case basis. What will we do if you take the job and escape somewhere leaving us in an awkward situation? • We are not here to escape somewhere rather we have global expansion plans so that we can serve you wherever you are in a much better way. • If we had to escape, we had not gone into business and invested and tried to survive through this slowdown period when many businesses have actually wrapped up or scaled down. • We would sign a legal agreement which would enable you to catch us no matter wherever we escape if that’s what has to happen at all. • We also have business insurances to compensate for such losses. We do need planning but we can only hire as our employees, we never give it to outside company. • Hiring a company has many advantages over hiring employees such as you pay salaries & wages to your employees, arrange office access, inductions, travels, accommodation in some cases, computers, softwares, trainings etc. Then you give them Fringe Benefits as well as leave loading, annual leave, sick leave, public holidays, super- annuation, compassionate leave, bonus etc. Your Cost to Company (CTC) is quite high compared to what we charge you as a company despite the fact that we have office running expenses, insurances, computer, softwares, wages and numerous other expenses If you compare “Apple for Apple”, you will realise that you would actually pay far more to your employees for the same thing and may not be satisfied actually. Where is your physical office if we have to reach you in emergency? • Our physical office as per the records of ASIC is in East Perth however for the purpose of privacy we have been using Level 3, 267 St. Georges Terrace as our Mailbox address. This is a serviced office and has facilities for meeting rooms and Day office on as & when required basis. • Depending on how & when would you like to meet us or what are the project specific requirements, we would scale our space requirements accordingly. • So, in case of emergency, do drop us an email or call us, we would be happy to help you out however we do not handle urgent jobs regularly. Why did you choose to go into business? • This is a personal question and is not related with the company. • However, we feel business has many advantages such as a separate life-less entity which can be bought, sold, divided, joined or expanded compared to an individual whose capacities and dreams are mostly limited to just landing a good job & surviving within a comfort-zone. We need to know that we would get the best talent. • We have “Candidate Pre-Interview Screening Questionnaire” which we ask all the applicants to complete and send it to us with their CV for a fair evaluation. This Questionnaire has points based scoring system to compare “Apple for Apple” so that only the best ones are selected for interview. • Once the candidates have been shortlisted for interview, each of them would be checked against their ability to communicate with us & our clients. Besides there would be Technical Questions as well to test their merit. • Finalised candidates would then be sent for “Pre-employment Medical” • For work if required to outsource, we search our network and follow the same procedure except for Medicals which we leave on the outsourcing firm to make sure they are fit to provide service to us. So, if you have multiple projects or sub-projects information in the XER format , we can bring that in to an integrated schedule. • However, if you have different projects in different softwares, we can only help you by importing them into Primavera and exporting back into XML, XER, MS-Project or Excel formats. How much time do you need to complete program for a project? • It will take as long as it takes. • We prepare agreements on hourly billable basis and not lumpsum and it really depends on what information is available to us & what needs to be done. Quite often our clients have a date in mind and they ask us if we are able to do this in that timeframe. We conduct a thorough check and SWOT analysis to see the viability. • However, if you have to tell your clients when would the program be ready, the answer to that question can only be given after completing “Customer & Project Profile”. But, if you are too much pressed for time, we might not be able to help you out. So, we intend to prepare a program narrative which details what assumptions have been made in the programs. • As & when, new information comes in or more data is available, the list of assumptions is updated to reflect that program is aligned with the reality. • For Tenders, we intend to seek if you have any existing database of information from previous projects to make sure program works the way your organisation works and not many other companies out there. One company doing one project completing a particular activity in a module may not achieve the same productivity in another corner of the world for same activity. • We rely on open-source databases of Productivity and assumptions made by the Estimators, Quantity Surveyors, Project Engineers & Site Managers. If you do not have such information handy, we may have to seek outside help which can just take longer so the best idea would be to tell us whatever information you have when we complete the Customer & Project Profile. Can we recommend a candidate to get trained under you? • Our Coaching/Training services are very limited as we are not a Registered Training Organisation. • The reason we have this service listed in our Service List is that when we go out to work in our client’s offices, quite often their staff start to learn how we doing it and then it is seen that our scope to provide services is suddenly limited as their staff becomes competent which is a harm to our business. So, what we intend to say that we are not running an amusement show when we are working in your office so there is no point learning commands & procedures by watching what we doing but if you are really interested in learning, please take our Training/Coaching Service & pay us to learn what you want to learn, it does not come bundled with our consultancy service for free. Can you give us a “Ballpark Cost” for your services for our projects? • No • Our services are priced on hourly basis and it takes as long as it takes to complete programming for a project. • Quite often, we are unable to conduct work because information is not available so we do not want to put ourselves at disadvantage by committing a cost and then spending more hours on it due to no fault of hours. • Also, it is seen that work becomes unexpectedly complex and taking for ever, so we may have to issue a Rate Variation to you should that happen. • But, we assure you that our charges are very competitive as our solutions are customised to what needs to be done. We may occasionally come up with unexpected work without prior intimation. • We believe in Fair Work principles. • If unexpected work without prior intimation is a one-off emergency case, we might be able to help you out but you will be charged for Urgent Services. And this we can do only for our existing & reliable clients. • However if we are getting urgent works every now & then, this would reflect poor mis-management & our services would be limited. • If you are looking to squeeze too much out of us by creating artificial pressure , we would be able to sense it and would seek separation, may be we will never do business together again. Its money we are after finally. • We do cost control to the extent it can be done in Project Management Module of Primavera P6 and using spreadsheets as supplements. • However, we are not Accountants or Costing Engineers and this module has some limitations in terms of costing so please do not expect everything to be perfect but we are able to control through other processes such as databases & manual data extraction & verification. • Should there be need to hire Billing/Costing Engineers, we would discuss with you at the outset or as we progress through the project being reasonable with you at all times. How would you handle Forensic & Claims where information is not organised or not complete as you would expect. • This depends on how far do we need to dig deep into the information pool and what’s feasible to achieve. • If the Claims has to go to the Adjudication process through the courts, we would need validated records as proof anyway. We also know that a fair comparison or claim happens when we compare “Apple for Apple” and not “Apple with Banana”. • Quite often programs are in different formats or softwares so we align them all into P6, sometimes we may need to recreate the program so that it can be compared with the “As-Built program” for window analysis or dispute resolution. • Forensics is really something which we learn & developments become clearer as we progress. If reasonable data is not available at all, we would certainly not say “Yes” to you when we know that it’s a “No”.
