School Librarians = Teachers We teach collaborative projects with classroom teachers,research skills, selection/evaluation of resources (both in print and online), annotation, citation, bibliographic formatting, use of software programs, and web 2.0 applications.
School Librarians = TeachersWe teach cybersafety: stranger danger, identity theft, cyberbullying, social networking.
School Librarians = Teachers We teach students to use web 2.0 tools like wikis and Google Docs.
School Librarians = Teachers We teach students to use new technologies safely, effectively, and appropriately.
School Librarians = Teachers We are technology leaders in our schools andprovide teacher training -- one-on-one, in groups, and online.
School Librarians = TeachersOnline Instruction: PCS secondary librarians are helping to implement Odysseyware throughout the district.
In addition to resources, school libraries need staffing to improve student achievement, and this is the area whereimprovement is needed in Petaluma when school funding improves.
