Same signs, the answer is positive. Different signs, the answer is negative.

2. 2. Positive Integer - Integers that are greater than 0. Negative Integer - Integers that are smaller than 0.
3. 3. How to Multiply Integers The product of two positive integers is positive. The product of two negative integers is negative. The product of a positive integer and a negative integer is negative. 3(5) = 15 -4(-6) = -24 2(-8) = -16
4. 4. So if either of the integers is negative, the answer is negative!
