  3. 3. Stages in its Life Cycle <ul><li>Chickens are flightless fowls. (A family of birds) They are one of the most common birds. (In food form) They start their lives as an fertilised egg. After 21 days, they hatch as chicks. </li></ul><ul><li>After a few months, they would grow into adult chickens. After mating, the cycle repeats itself again. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Hatching Eggs <ul><li>The eggs must be fertilised and kept at 37 ° C , must be turned trice a day and the humidity must be high. </li></ul>

The most interesting part was that we learnt how a chick developed inside the egg day by day. The challenging part was that we were racing against time. </li></ul>
