3. WELCOME Welcome to a tribute to mothers. Today we come to celebrate our mothers and those in our lives who love and nurture us and others.
4. Mothers are God’s special people who deserve our great love, honour and admiration. Mothers are our greatest strength and our greatest comfort. Please stand and join in our opening hymn, Welcome to God’s House

8. Opening Prayer Let us pray: Mothering God, you love us and care for us in all our needs. We give you thanks for our mothers and for all the women in our lives who love us and care for us like mothers. We pray that you will bless them in all that they need. We ask this through Christ our Lord. All: Amen

47. Father: Loving God, pour out your abundant grace and blessings upon these women who mother and care for their children. May each of them be strengthened according to their need and rejoice in your love and peace. All: Amen.
48. Prayer after Communion Father: Let us pray. As we proclaim Mary to be mother of the Church and our mother, may our communion with Jesus her son bring us happiness and peace. We ask this through Christ our Lord. All: Amen
