Pramek Distance Learning Program Why we are strict Pramek has a proud lineage. 14 years in development, begun in 2004 and officially announced as a system, in 2007. Pramek is considered by many to be the first American/Russian hybrid system. We are neither fully America nor are we fully Russian. We combine the scientific styles of Russia and elements of traditional Russian martial culture with the pragmatism and experience of America. We embrace the heritage of Kadochnikov the same as we embrace the heritage of Applegate. The lasso and the nagaika, the AK and the AR…we recognize the underlying science of both sides of the Atlantic and of our heritage in the development of Pramek. While transparent and open, we are exclusive in our affiliations, as we have a lineage and reputation to safe-guard the purity of. We want to bring knowledge thirsty individuals, independent training groups, and the best professional schools in the world. Though many have attended Pramek seminar, or studied RMA or combatives, few have actually experienced Pramek’s methodology, pedagogy, and concepts. In order to expand Pramek, and protect what Pramek is, we have developed our distance learning program for individuals, groups of martial artists with no school who train independently, and professionals schools wanting to add a curriculum of combatives training.

Pramek Distance Learning Program How it works 1) Each DLP organization receives a DLP certificate Certificate good for 3 months, renewed or quarterly 2) Pramek is releasing 9 training modules over 26 videos/manual learning sets compromising a minimum two years of study. 3) DLP organizations will buy the learning sets and train with the material. 4) There will be weekly online interactive sessions within each module. Once a group has purchased each set within a module and trained, the group will host a clinic or coordinate with another group to host a clinic, 5) The module clinic will be two days – one for the public, one for the DLP group to be trained and tested on the module. 6) Once the clinic is held and the group is tested, they will receive a certificate renewal to continue operating as a DLP organization 7) Once the DLP is finished (approximately 2 years) the organization can continue to the Pramek Advanced DLP, or coordinate with Pramek to develop a school

Pramek Distance Learning Program Certification Our certificate acts as a charter for the DLP organization. Without a valid certificate, the DLP organization is not recognized by Pramek. Certificates are awarded quarterly that allow a DLP organization to function Certificates must be kept current by remaining active in the modules, sending one member to one of two Pramek national seminars a year, paying dues for DLP membership The certificate must be brought to any publicly advertised training session so the general public can determine if the group is current Certificates can be revoked by Pramek at any time if a group is found in violation of Pramek’s DLP guidelines
Pramek Distance Learning Program Our Training Process Pramek is releasing 26 videos/manual sets encompassed in 9 training modules. DLPO’s will be required to attend a minimum one online interactive session a month, as well as submit one 15 minute training group video to Pramek Once a DLPO has finished a module, the DLPO must organize and host a clinic on any subject matter for a public clinic. One day will be for the public (the group will be entitled to 20% of the seminar proceeds* as long as the clinic grosses over $750) The second day will be for the DLPO. At the DLPO clinic the module will be covered in depth and then the DLPO will be tested. If the DLPO shows general aptitude for the module materials and is able to pass a teaching, application, and general knowledge test the DLPO certificate will be renewed and the DLPO can move onto the next module. If not, a development plan will be formulated for the group, the certificate will be renewed, and the DLPO must operate within the development plan to keep a current certification. At least one DLPO member must attend one of two yearly national seminars by Pramek (if there are IAP members within an organization, then this does count toward attendance) * Based upon attendee registration only, not on media or product sales, private training that comes from clinic, etc.
Pramek Distance Learning Program What Happens After the 9 Modules?

After the 9 Modules have been passed, a DLPO will have the

choice of:

Continue onto the Pramek Advanced DLP

Receive certification as completing the DLP with a charter to begin teaching Pramek as a non-professional school, charter to be renewed yearly

Franchise Pramek as a professional school (requires one IAP member who has completed minimum 75% of the IAP)

Pramek Distance Learning Program How Pramek Will Promote Your Group What will Pramek do to promote DLP groups: Have a DLP section on the website listing contact information for DLP’s by country, state or city Actively foster a forum environment for DLP groups that the public can read and view Allow DLPO’s to submit articles for review and publishing through the Pramek site (rights are owned by the author, not by Pramek) Allow DLPO’s to submit blog posts for review and publishing through the Pramek blog
Pramek Distance Learning Program Guidelines: Individual Pramek must be learned in a group environment. Some individuals will buy a video, but some want a structured training program. We understand that on occasion it takes a period of time to find training partners. Individuals can join our DLP but must form an official group (must find one more individual to train with and register with Pramek) within 3 months of their first certification as a DLP or they will no longer be eligible for financial discounts. An individual may affiliate with a group or a school in another town or state if they are unable to find a consistent training partner, must attend a training session with this group a minimum of once a month in order to remain eligible for financial benefits. The inability to form a group will not completely remove an individual from the ability to train (example would be limited live online training sessions the individual may log into) We simply can not keep up with 1,000 individual students needs in regards to online and interactive training. We recognize ‘primary countries’ where Pramek is strong internationally, and may have limited numbers of students in surrounding countries. In such a case, individuals in surrounding countries may affiliate with the ‘primary country’ in the region. Individuals are held to the same standard of a group or school in terms of modules, attending seminars, though we are flexible.

Pramek Distance Learning Program General Guidelines Continued Affiliation: At no time will experience in any industry or martial art or combatives style or system allow an individual, group, or school to skip modules. Our guidelines exist to foster a controlled environment for training, not to prohibit training. We understand extenuating circumstances are common, and will remain flexible on a case by case basis on situations that arise. We have developed our guidelines to maintain the highest standard of training, to match our work to standardize our training.
