  3. 3. Here is a calendar showing the month of January, 2010<br />January 2010<br />Depending on where you live, you might write the marked date of January 9, 2010, differently.<br />

Writing dates<br />In Europe, people write that date: Day / Month / Year, or 9/1/2010<br />In the United States, people write the date: Month/ Day / Year, or 1/9/2010<br />In some other places, people write the date: Year / Month/Day, or 2010/1/9<br />Some places measure years differently. For example, in Japan, this date would also be the 22nd Heisei year, 1st month, 9th day:<br />
