Main objective behind doing this
project is to know the volume of sales particularly in GOOD
KNIGHT Brand (both coil and refills) and Market share of it in
Tirupathi town.

The Total sales of both Retail giants and Retail Outlets for
Good Knight is (11, 13, 00,000 + 34, 60, 80,000)
= 45, 73, 80,000/-
The Total sales of both Retail giants and Retail Outlets for
All out(Rivalry product) is (6,51,00,000 + 29,24,40,000)
= 35,75,40,000/-

TOTAL REVENUE/SALES OF ALLOUT (RIVALRY)
= 45, 73, 80,000/-

= 1.27% of Market share
Therefore Market share = 1.27%
10. FINDINGS
This Brand is available in coils, refills, paper
with low smoke etc., In case of Small retails the sales of coils
are more when compared to refills. But in case of retail giants
Sales of refills are high than coils. They told that this product
get sales in throughout the year i.e., there is no seasonal
sales for this product.
Every shop where I went, they told that most
of the customers prefer Good Knight more than All-out.
When I went to More, Pasuparthy Super
Market the owners explained me about the sales of both
brands.
When I went to Sabson stores the shop
owner told that if they sell Good knight both refills and coils
worth 20,000/- they will get 1,500/- margin on it.

11. CONCLUSION
Finally after this survey I came to
know that the market share of this particular brand has
1.27% of market share in tirupathi.And customers prefers
quality and look at the brand of the product .
