To whomever it may concern,
My name is Mouaadh B. Chenaf, and I am a Master’s of Education student in the American University
in Dubai. I am interested in seeking a teaching position in your school. My track is specialized in
primary education, but not in any particular subject. The Masters of Education program that I enrolled
in includes several courses, covering all aspects of modern education. It includes a course about learning
and human development, teaching in a multicultural classroom, classroom management, technological
applications in the classroom, differentiated instruction, Math and Science teaching Methods,
curriculum design, English reading methods, and Educational qualitative research. However, I have a
passion for Islamic studies, and would like to pursue it as a career.
Furthermore, my Master’s thesis is about Islamic education. In it, I studied the development and
evolution of the purpose of education in Islam. In other words, the vision and mission of Islamic
education. I researched the phases through which this purpose developed and evolved, and all the factors
that influenced its development and evolution. This research was a journey of personal, spiritual, and
professional development; providing me with a wider image of Islamic education. I look forward to
being a part of the new era or this ancient, and magnificent tradition.
Moreover, as someone who aspires to become a universal man, or a public intellectual; I recognize the
importance of education in making a better tomorrow. I believe that the purpose of education is to create
lifelong learners, thinkers, and contributing, law abiding citizens of the world, who will achieve
material, intellectual, and moral prosperity, for themselves and everyone around them. I try my best to
exemplify this belief in my own life. As you will find out in my CV, I am a self-taught filmmaker,
Artist, and Poet. I am also a Professional Educator, and Architect. I will keep learning, acquiring, and
mastering new skills, knowledge, and understandings, till the day I die.
Finally, as someone who is just entering the world of education, I really look forward to this learning
experience. I am excited about getting a chance to apply everything that I have learned in the past two
