  2. 2. Homemade Mother’s Day Projectsto Make Your Mother Not everyone has the money to show their mothers how much they love them. Thankfully, mothers are the type that appreciates sentimental value over dollar value. Instead of buying your mom a commercial, thoughtless gift, make her something that she can use or keep as a remembrance of your love. Give her one of these Mother’s Day projects.
  3. 3. Scrapbook A scrapbook is one of the best Mother’s Day projects to give any mother. She will love it because it is full of memories as well as it being creative. You do not have to be a scrapbook expert to make this present either. There is a lot of pre-made scrap booking kits available. With these kits, all you have to do is cut the picture to the right size and paste it in. It cannot get any easier.
  4. 4. To Personalize The Scrapbook Even Further To personalize the scrapbook even further, add your own personal notes of love in it, and even some Mother’s Day verses. You can also write the scrapbook to read like a story from when you first met in the hospital room. If you do not have a lot of photographs available of you and your mother together, just add recent ones or make one of your kids.
  5. 5. A Meal If you are not that talented at Mother’s Day projects, cooking may be a reasonable solution. Most mothers cooked every meal for us when we were a kid. You can repay the favor by holding a small meal, such as brunch, in her honor. If you are cooking challenged and know you will mess up the whole meal, you can start with something small. Try giving her baked breads or desserts. Even if the food ends up tasting not so great, your mother will appreciate the time it took you to try and make her one of these Mother’s Day projects.
  6. 6. Memory Jar A memory jar is probably the most fun of these Mother’s Day projects. All you need is a clean jar and small scraps of paper. On each paper, you write something you remember from your childhood. These memories should be funny or sweet. You can also twist this idea around to be a jar of all the things you love about your mom.
  7. 7. She Will Have So Much Fun She will have so much fun opening and reading each memory. She will probably aw or laughs as she goes. If you cannot recall that many memories, have other family members place their own in too. A memory jar is not only the most fun out of all these Mother’s Day projects, but it is also the gift that will help your family bond.
