  • Please note that LinkedIn products/services tabs have been recently removed by LinkedIn, and replaced with showcase pages. What's the difference? Someone can follow a showcase page, not just the company page - making it perfect for audience segmentation. For example, someone interested in just specific product news can follow the product showcase page to get only the news they are interested in, instead of the company page with all news. It's pretty cool!

  2. 2. Sometimes, even the largest brands don’t use social media to its full potential. Just because they are big – with big budgets – doesn’t mean they don’t have blind spots. And there is no reason that smaller companies can’t leverage some of the very same resources that enterprise businesses do. ESPECIALLY when they are low-cost or free.   6. 6. Nice home image! Product Promo! HUBSPOT! Their “home page” header image is different than their product page images. One audience has different interests than the other! Obviously,. they aren’t the only one… they just do it better than most!
  7. 7. 1. They have uploaded multiple header images. (note the scroll arrows) that are RELATED to their product page. 2. All of their products are showcased! (BTW, each one links to a full page on each one) 3. They have uploaded video. 4. They have customized sidebar promotions that are relevant and include a call-to-action.

  10. 10. THE HOME PAGE HEADER IMAGE 1. Go to your company page, mouse-over the down arrow to the right of the blue “edit” button, then click on “edit page.” 2. Scroll down to where it says “Image.” Upload a PNG, JPEG, or GIF image that is at least 646 x 220 pixels; no larger than 2MB. 3. Since you are here, fill out EVERY FIELD on this page! Make it keyword rich.
  11. 11. ADD PRODUCTS OR SERVICES 1. Go back up to the blue “edit” button, then click on “add product or service.”
  12. 12. PARADISE BOOM. This is where you add all the good stuff. • select a product or a service • add a category and description • detailed features that go on their own full page • attention-getting images • specific contacts for that product (salespeople!) • YouTube videos • customized promotions • a hyperlink to related product information on your website Are you singing yet? This should make you VERY happy. It’s FREE! And your competitors aren’t doing it!!! !!!
