their nymphs are aquatic.

temperatures and being
able to blow a light air
frequently

•Eye: It has 2 big eyes
•Legs: It has 6 legs
•Chest: It is divided in 2 parts.
•Abdomen:In the abdomen are
found most of the organs.

5. The life cycle of dragonflies I
• The life cycle of dragonflies, from the egg
phase to death in adulthood, ranges from six
months to six or seven years.
• Occasionally, females lay eggs between small
cracks in mud or moss.

6. The life cycle of dragonflies II
• They spend most of their lives as larvae under
water breathing through gills.
• In the adult phase (flying), the larger species
can live up to four months

7. Feeding
•They feed on of other invertebrates or even
vertebrates, such as tadpoles or fish.
