Corporate FocusVendome Resources has recently entered into earn-inagreements to 3 key exploration projects in the SierraMadre Del Sur precious metal belt of Mexico.Referred to as the San Javier, La Diana and SanMiguel Properties, these projects comprise nearly18,000 hectares of exploration territory in a worldclass mining area.
San Javier Mine PropertyThe San Javier Mine Property is 253 hectares in size. Asmall artisanal mine on the property operated duringthe 1970’s and 80’s.Chip and grab samples from surface quartz veinsreturned values up to 15,000 g/tonne silver, in excessof 3% lead and zinc.Veins widths up to 1.5 metres wide.
San Javier Mine PropertyNewly discovered high grade silver vein exposuresidentified as far away as 800 metres from the old mineworkings.Mineralized system at San Javier is similar to other worldclass rift related epithermal silver mines in Mexico.Vendome will begin a multi-phase exploration program atSan Javier in March 2012. No exploration employingmodern techniques has been undertaken at San Javier.
La Diana PropertyThe La Diana Property covers 14,722 hectares and islocated within the heart of the Sierra Madre del Sur.Virtually unexplored. A recent property visit yieldedextremely promising results.New upgrades to area access will allow Vendome toinitiate multi-phase exploration program in the 2ndhalf of 2012.
San Miguel PropertySan Miguel is located within the southern portion ofthe Sierra Madre Del Sur.2,000 hectares in size and is surrounded by the LaDiana property.No known history of exploration. Preliminarygeological reports indicate excellent explorationpotential.
