Lajos was our first common King, and many times Polish king sat on the Hungarian throne (Jagellók) or a Hungarian was wreathed as Polish King for example István Báthory • Lot of Polish soldiers fought side by side with Hungarians in the War of Independence of 1848-49 against the Habsburgs

  17. 17. March 15th  This day is one of our National Celebration, when we commemorate the War of Independence of 1848-1849  In 2012 thousands of Polish people travelled to Hungary on this day to celebrate with us
