  2. 2. What is Advertising?<br />Advertising is a public promotion of products and/or services. It’s a form of communication and presentation that intend to pursue an audience or potential customers<br />
  3. 3. BRIEF HISTORY OF ADVERTISING<br />According to John W. Hartman the emergence of advertising in America in 1850, and it started by presenting over 9,000 images with database information. Advertising has developed enormously from the nineteenth century till this day. <br />

WHY IT’S A CONTROVERSIAL TOPIC<br />There are some points of view about this topic:<br />1) Companies and seller’s says that they are helping the economy growth and raising the selling productivity.<br />2) Consumers complain that they are spending more than they can afford for unneeded things and putting them selves into debt.<br />3) Many cases are being held up against companies, banks and others demanding consumers rights.<br />4) It influence the consumers and let them get engage into unwanted transactions <br />

Companies and seller’s claim that they are providing the truth and helping the consumers in their decisions to have easier life by owning these goods and services.<br />Many consumers are complaining because marketing agencies are using unreal images in presenting their services and some banks are manipulating by not revealing hidden fees for their customers.<br />For <br />Against <br />
  6. 6. Conclusion <br /><ul><li>This problem has a main role in the economy; it causes an expansion or a recession. Many companies claim that advertising increases the selling activity which leads to economic productivity, and by this they are helping the overall economy. Advertising should address real facts to conserve consumer’s rights. Because manipulation is immoral behavior that is expanding through advertising, government has to start censor the commercials and the adds to prevent future effects. </li>
