Four-leafed Donuts

 1. 1. Lucky Four-Leafed Donuts Tutorial
 2. 2. Start by thawing Mel-O-Cream’s heart-shaped, yeast-raised donuts. Remember to prepare donuts in multiples of 4 to make the leaves of your lucky clover. We recommend making 1 or 2 extra, just in case!
 3. 3. Prepare icing by gradually mixing flat white icing with green food coloring. Top the hearts with the green icing. Check out DU’s previous blogs for tips on icing donuts.
 4. 4. It looks scrumptious on its own, but you can add a little colored sugar to really make them sparkle! Just remember to ice only a couple at a time before adding sugar. Otherwise, the icing will have set before you can say “Begorrah!”
 5. 5. Now arrange the hearts so that all 4 points meet at the center.
 6. 6. This Four-leafed Donut takes only a couple of minutes to make. Just be sure you have a container large enough for this layout.
 7. 7. Using flat white icing and a piping bag, you can add a quick and thoughtful design to your clovers.
 8. 8. Or, write your favorite Irish greetings on the donuts.
 9. 9. Some of Our Favorites:

Happy St. Patty’s Day Erin Go Braugh

Happy St. Patty’s Day Erin Go Braugh

Happy St. Patty’s Day Erin Go Braugh

Kiss Me I’m Irish Is tu mo ghra (means “I love you”)

(means “I love you”)

(means “I love you”)
