  2. 2. Open up Audacity and go to File/Newto start a new project. You should have a blank screen like this.<br />
  3. 3. Creating the NarrationsClick the record button and speak into the microphone. <br />When finished narrating, click the stop button.<br />
  4. 4. Your First Track <br />The Narration of Your Selected <br />Haiku<br />
  5. 5. Importing Audio<br />Import the Mp3: Rain and Thunder Sounds located under “resources”<br />Importone of three listed songs that fits the mood of your selected Haiku.<br />
  6. 6. Importing Sounds and Music<br />Go to File on your Audacity screen and click on import.<br />
  7. 7. Your Multi-track RecordingWhen finished, you should have a total of four tracks displayed on your screen.<br />Your Narration<br />Rain and Thunder Sounds<br />Your Selected Musical Mood<br />

  9. 9. Adjust the Volume<br />Lower the sound of the music track so that your narrations can be heard clearly.<br />
  10. 10. Saving Your Project<br />Save your project on the Audacity PD 2011 page of our CVE Wiki<br />Save as: Your Full Name_PD Haiku<br />
