  2. 2. Research aims To determine distance learning current /former teachers attitude of distance learning quality influenced factors. 2015-11-16 Rita Misiulienė 2 Research Quantitative study has been done. There were 20 respondents. The questionnaire consisted of 20 closed and open questions.

  14. 14. What are the disadvantages of distance learning process in NLC? Teachers’ remarks • Higher motivation of students; • Harder to organize team work; • No disadvantages. Moodle environment could be more confortambe for work; • Qualiffied saff and technology; • Law participation of students in lectures, its hard to organize disscusions and case studies. 2015-11-16 Rita Misiulienė 14
  15. 15. Teachers remarks about quality of distance learning (1) • Law participation of students in live (contact) lectures. Only 1-2 students take part in discussions; • I have been working for 2 years now and noticed students do not use web cameras and this means there are no discussions because there is no enough time to wait the answers in chat; • Distance learning encourage teachers’ creativity; 2015-11-16 Rita Misiulienė 15
  16. 16. Teachers remarks about quality of distance learning (2) Distance learning lectures are qualitative. There is all necesary hardware and software. Moodle environent is adopted to work and to communicate with students. Suggestion – seminars, trainings for teachers about distance learning have to be organized more often.   17. 17. Findings Main factors which ensure quality of distance learning: –Applying of various teaching methods; –Submission of teaching (learning); –Teachers and students communication and collaboration; –Applying tools for getting feedback. 2015-11-16 Rita Misiulienė 17

Findings Weaknesses of distance learning: –Too little number of students attend live/online classes, therefore: • Obstacles arise for discussion and case study; • Becomes difficult to organize work in groups; –Lack of students motivation; –Reduction of contact hours. 2015-11-16 Rita Misiulienė 18
