Bicep Tendonitis symptoms and treatments
 With the movement of the arm and shoulder, a
sensation of pain is felt in the front of the
shoulder. This pain is worse if the arm moves
out, it will be extended or increased, reaching
over his shoulder. Even if the front of the
shoulder is touched, the affected person can feel
the pain. When you move your arm in certain
directions can produce when turned on and the
affected person may also feel a burning
sensation in the affected area. The pain caused
by biceps tendinitis worse at night or when you
    wake up in the morning.

                                                                       Pa

 Prevention
 The first step would be to avoid tendinitis by
preparing muscle and tendons by warming up
and stretching, and doing exercises of
    increasing difficulty respecting gestural
technique and stopping at the slightest
    discomfort.

                                                     ge
                                                      3
 Ice packs on your shoulder for 20 to 30
minutes every 3 to 4 hours for 2 or 3 days
or until the pain goes away
 Take an anti-inflammatory oral steroid
 An injection of corticosteroids to reduce
    inflammation and pain
 Physical therapy with rehabilitation
    exercises.

                                                  Pa
                                                  ge
                                                   4
 The goal of rehabilitation is to return you to your
sport or activity as soon as safely possible. If you
return too early, you may aggravate your injury
and risk permanent damage. Everyone recovers
from injuries at a different rates. Your return to
normal activities will depend on the recovery of
your shoulder, not by how many days or weeks it
has been since the injury occurred. In general,
the longer it takes to start treatment after having
symptoms, the longer it takes to heal.
