  3. 4. When Outlook Express First Opens <ul><li>FOLDER PANE should have INBOX at top, and will show as Gray </li></ul><ul><li>INBOX PANE will have the top email highlighted in blue </li></ul><ul><li>PREVIEW PANE will show as much of the email as possible in the window </li></ul>

Re-sizing Panes <ul><li>Move your cursor to any of the boundaries </li></ul><ul><li>When you are ON THE SPOT, cursor arrow will change to the following symbol: </li></ul><ul><li>Left Click once, HOLD AND DRAG </li></ul><ul><li>Drag the Boundary Bar up, down, or left or right as required </li></ul><ul><li>When you are comfortable with the position, let go of the mouse button </li></ul>

Increase or Decrease Size of Columns <ul><li>Move your cursor to the Column you want to re-size </li></ul><ul><li>Move to the boundary of the column you want to move left or right </li></ul><ul><li>A symbol will appear when you are in the right position: </li></ul><ul><li>Holding the left button of the mouse, drag left or right until you have the column spaced as you like it </li></ul><ul><li>Let go of the mouse button </li></ul>

  9. 14. To Verify You Have Right Columns <ul><li>Make Sure You are in INBOX </li></ul><ul><li>Move your cursor ANYWHERE on the top gray line that shows Subject, Received, From, To </li></ul><ul><li>RIGHT CLICK ONCE on the mouse </li></ul><ul><li>You should see a sub menu with “Columns” </li></ul>

To Verify You Have Right Columns <ul><li>Move your cursor to the word “Columns” and click once </li></ul><ul><li>A sub menu will pop up </li></ul><ul><li>You will see all the possible columns you can add </li></ul><ul><li>Move the cursor to any EMPTY box and click once </li></ul><ul><li>A Check Mark will appear </li></ul><ul><li>When finished, Click on the OK button </li></ul>
