  4. 4. DEPOSIT SLIP A deposit slip is filled in when you deposit money into your bank account.  On this document you write down all the money (notes and), as well as cheques and money orders deposit into your account.  You receive the duplicate, while the bank keeps the original deposit slip. 
  5. 5. RECEIPTS A customer may pay a business either in cash, by cheque or by credit/debit card.  To acknowledge the receipt of money from the customer the business can issue a receipt, cash register slip/receipt or a credit card slip depending on the method of payment. 
