Key Points Trip will take place from October 19th (Monday) to October 20th (Tuesday) between Mini 1 and 2 Only B&T club members are eligible to attend (If you’re not a member today, you can still join) Trip is self-funded We will provide a trip packet with detailed itinerary and general company information/directions

4. Expectations Treks are educational activities This is an opportunity to learn about companies that deal with technology This is an opportunity to learn about different roles in those companies DO NOT EXPECT YOU WILL SECURE YOUR INTERNSHIP AFTER THIS TREK

Number of Participants Due to space restrictions at the company sites, we are capping attendance at 25 people The registration will be in a first-come, first-serve order Due to this this limit, a $100 refundable deposit is required to secure your spot Cancelations must be received prior to 10/2 or deposit will be forfeited

6. You are a Tepper Ambassador Must attend ALL corporate presentations Failure to attend any company visit will result in forfeiture of deposit Arrive 20 min prior to presentation & enter as group Late arrivers may not attend - No exceptions During the meeting – Be attentive and polite No outside food Do your homework and prepare in advance! There are Stupid Questions! No falling asleep… stay attentive

Resumes The B&T Club will prepare a Resume Packet for each company Prepare resumes & purchase business cards Bring extra copies of your resume & business cards Hardcopy resumes printed on cotton or linen paper Resume Updates Submission By: 11:59PM, Sunday, October 11th, 2009 Email PDF copy to Toni @ aabellav@tepper.cmu.edu with the subject as “RTP Trek Resume”. Include full name in document title and name the document as “lastname.pdf”
