Anorexia & bulimia
• There is a series
currently on bbc3
called ‘don’t call me
crazy’ which focuses
on a mental health
clinic for teenagers.
• Shown on shows such
as skint and
shameless, children
don’t take education
seriously.
• "The Best Little Girl in
the World" Jennifer
Jason Leigh stars as
Casey Powell, a
teenager secretly
suffering from
anorexia nervosa. Her

9. My Favourite topic out of the three I have listed is the
Anorexia & Bulimia topic.
I feel that this is the strongest topic choice as anorexia
& bulimia is a very controversial topic and rarely
receives media coverage due to its sensitive nature. I
feel that the topic shouldn’t be ignored as many people
suffer, or know people who have suffered or who are
suffering from the illness.
