MICHEL HABIB, Founder, Managing Partner
Mr. HABIB is the Founder of Matar Capital Advisors. He is also a Venture
Partner with Agate Medical Investments LP. Mr. Habib serves as observer on
the boards of Brainsgate Ltd. and Petratec Ltd. and as advisory board member
of Sixx Partners. Prior to founding Matar Capital Advisors, Michel worked for
close to 4 years as Elron Electronic Industries' Business Development Director.
At Elron Mr. Habib implemented more than a dozen investments, MA’s and
represented the company on numerous Boards. Prior to Elron, he established
and managed the investment banking activity of ING Barings in Israel and
served as Vice President Investment Banking at Cukierman Co.. During the
90's Mr. Habib served as diplomat in Israel's foreign service, as the Economic
Consul to New England in Boston, and earlier as Commercial Attaché to South
Korea in Seoul. As Captain (Res.) in the IDF Navy he was involved in the
development of advanced Naval systems for the Navy's elite unit. Mr. Habib
holds an Aeronautical Engineering degree from the Technion-Israel Institute of
Technology. He is a graduate from the foreign service cadet school, and
member of the Technion Alumni quot;100 Clubquot;.
MICHAEL ATZMON, Advisory Board Member
Mr. ATZMON was the Founding Partner of SIXX Partners which later merged its activities with Matar Capital Advisors. Prior to
joining Matar Capital Advisors Michael managed the International activities of SIXX Partners. Michael currently serves on the
Board of Directors of Eloa Invest, an investment ﬁrm focused on Asia Paciﬁc and on the Belgian Luxembourg – Israel Chamber
of Commerce. Michael is also the treasurer of ORT Belgium an NGO fostering education for underprivileged children. Prior to
SIXX Partners Michael worked as Co-Managing Director at Lion Venture Partners where he was also responsible for the
creation of the afiliation with the Halman Aldubi Group, at that time the largest private provident funds group in Israel.
Michael also worked at Catapult, a business development as Development Manager. Michael holds BBA in Business
Administration form the United Business Institutes, Brussels, a BA from the University of Wales, UK and has followed executive
MBA Classes at the United Business Institutes.
BENOIT FLAMMANG, Venture Partner
Mr. FLAMMANG was a Partner at SIXX Partners which later merged with Matar Capital Advisors. Benoit manages the American
operations at Matar Capital Advisors. Benoit has over 20 years of strategic and international business and ﬁnancial
development expertise. He started his career at IBM Belgium, moved as international comptroller for a publicly traded
international group to the US, restructured a money-losing company in Raleigh North Carolina. Benoit later moved to New
York to become a serial entrepreneur and an independent strategic advisor. He was a longtime advisor for Foreign Trade to
the Belgian Government. Ben received his B.A. in Applied Economics from ICHEC in Brussels.
DR. SIMONE BOTTI, Venture Partner
Mr. BOTTI was a Vice President at SIXX Partners. Simone regularly acts as a consultant for major European and Asian
governments and ﬁnancial institutions in matters of technology transfer and technology ﬁnancing. Prior to Matar Capital
Advisors Simone was the Founder and Managing Partner at Altiora Ventures a Corporate Finance and Investment Banking
Boutique specialized in cross border MA and international business development. Simone is Councilor of the Italian-Israeli
Chamber of Commerce and a founding member of the Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce. In this capacity has organized a
number of high-level conferences on technology transfer between Israel and several European and Asian countries. Simone is
also Senior Consultant to the Israel Structural Proteomics Center at the Weizmann Institute of Science, and a member of the
Biophysical Society. Dr. Botti holds a Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of Science, and received the quot;Dov Eladquot; award in
FREDERIC FURCAJG, Senior Vice President
Mr. FURCAJG was a Vice President at SIXX Partners. Frederic is active in the Asian division of Matar Capital Advisors. Currently
the president of Eloa Invest a corporate ﬁnance advisory ﬁrm specialized in the Asia Paciﬁc region. Msc. from Polytechnique-
France and Msc. from Telecom Paris, Frederic is specialized in corporate ﬁnance; 17 years of international experience in high-
tech industry technological, business and ﬁnancial intelligence. Special advisor for large corporations, private equity funds
and investment banks, Frederic contributes an unparalleled international network in the public and corporate spheres, and
focuses more particularly on deal sourcing, hands-on strategic assistance to invest companies, and investments exits. His
areas of expertise include telecom, knowledge/internet industries, software, energy and Asian related joint-ventures.
RAPHAEL WITTENBERG, Senior Relationship Manager
Mr. WITTENBERG is a serial entrepreneur with a strong experience in International cross border business development.
Raphael has a long term expertise in the toy and textile industries. He is a principal in a number of production and trade
companies operating between Asia and Europe. Raphael developed a number of production groups in China which he later
successfully exited throughout the years. Raphael owns a number of patents and proprietary technologies in the Cleantech
and online gaming industries. Raphael holds an LLP from UCL, in the UK where he studied law.
