Coalition for Fire-Safe Cigarettes <ul><li>established March – 2006 </li></ul><ul><li>fire service members </li></ul><ul><li>consumer and disabled rights advocates </li></ul><ul><li>medical and public health practitioners </li></ul><ul><li>and others </li></ul><ul><li>coordinated by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), </li></ul><ul><li>who are committed to saving lives and preventing injuries by reducing the threat of cigarette-ignited fires. </li></ul>

    7. 7. <ul><li>49 of 50 states have passed Fire-Safe Cigarette laws (Wyoming being the one state that has not) </li></ul><ul><li>32 states (plus District of Columbia) have implemented FSC laws </li></ul><ul><li>11 more states will implement FSC laws on January 1, 2010 </li></ul>
