Sermon by Mike Smith

  • To all whom this may concern:
    In response to Anders Branderud:
Yes, one must obey everything Jesus commands us in order to be saved. Hebrews 5:9; Matthew 28:20; John 14:15
Jesus covenant replaced (fulfilled) the Jewish Bible Matthew 5:17-18; Hebrews 9:15-17; Hebrews 8:7-13
Jesus is both Lord and Christ Acts 2:36 all things were created through Him and for Him Colossians 1:15-18 He has all authority in heaven and on earth Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew 28:20
Jesus is the Messiah, He is Jehovah John 1:41 Mark 14:62 and the only way one may be forgiven of sins Isaiah 53: 1-12; Acts 4:10-12; John 14:6 also read Galatians chapter 3
All people must follow the New Testament of Jesus Christ today Matthew 26:28; Acts 3:19-26; 1 Corinthians 9:21; Hebrews 10:1-14; 1 Peter 1:25
I know this is very brief but shows that God planned to save the world through Jesus Christ Titus 1:1-3 and Jesus came and died for the sins of the world. Isaiah 42:1, 6; Isaiah 46:6; John 3:16-17 It is true that God does not lie Hebrews 6:18 and He does not change Hebrews 13:8 that is why the whole Bible is true, the Old and New Testaments and very profitable 2 Timothy 3:16-17
I love Jehovah my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and your soul and I hope that you trust and obey Him for eternal life 2 Timothy 2:10.
May God lead you to complete understanding of His plan for salvation and life.
    2 Timothy 2:15

  • Hello!

You quoted: “All who obey Jesus can be saved. Heb. 5:9 … Believe Rom. 10:9-10“

I want to comment on that. (le-havdil) How to live in order to enable the Creator in His loving kindness to provide His foregivness is outlined in Tan’’kh ( the Jewish Bible) ; and was also taught by the first century Ribi Yehoshua from Nazareth (the Mashiakh; the Messiah) (His teachings are found here: www.netzarim.co.il. Tan’’kh – for example Yekhëzqeil (Hezekiel) 18 – promises foregivness to those who do their sincerest to keep Torah.

The Creator cannot lie and He does not change (Malakhi 3:6)! According to Tehilim (“Psalms”) 103 the Creator gives his foregivness to those who do their sincerest to keep His berit (“covenant”; the pre-conditions to be included in the berit is according to the Jewish Bible to do ones sincerest to keep Torah).

The NT-view of foregiveness is not in accordance with what I wrote. All the best, Anders Branderud
