  1. 1. Ants! Ants are very adaptable. Ants live in the dead wood of tree trunks, fallen logs, wood poles, and wood in attics of houses. Their colonies are massive. Other ant species live in large colonies underground or in crevices.
  2. 2. Ants! Ants are omnivorous.They eat plant juices, fresh fruits, insects (living or dead), meats,syrup, honey, jelly, sugar, grease, fat, and honeydew. They feed readily on termites. >
  3. 3. Ants! Worker ants can live up to 7 years... but queen ants can live up to 25 years!
  4. 4. Ants! Ants are beneficial in: Ants can be beneficial in cleaning up organic debris since they are such scavengers. Carpenter ants eat termites, the insects that eat houses and buildings .
