  3. 3. GROUND FLOOR  The ground floor is what we would call the first floor. La Chambre • The bedroom • They are different from Americans’ bedrooms. • The French bedroom doesn’t have a television or a closet • Instead of a closet they have La commode which is a chest of drawers or like a dresser. • But other than those two different things that are pretty much the same as ours • They have posters, desks, a bed and a lamp http://www.dordognepropertyagency.com/photogallery.aspx?refer ence=DPA2728&page=3
