  2. 2. overview <ul><li>As the Sultan Qaboos University moving toward E-learning and the belief that e-learning is very effective on teaching. One of the implementation of E-learning is using moodle as a learning management system to deliver the content of such courses. One of the courses that use moodle to deliver its content is multimedia course. This delivery system is facilitating the reach to the content by the students, enhance communication between students and improve communication skills through the use of discussion forum, or discussion banal. In this survey we are tending to measure student’s learning by using the discussion banal and evaluating their performance. </li></ul>

Problem of the study <ul><li>Many courses use the discussion panel or forum to enhance students communication and discuss a specific topic related to the course, but some of these discussion panels are not monitored by the instructor. Some students don’t know how to participate effectively and give valid responses to others so, here we want answer the following questions: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Do students participate effectively on discussion panel? </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Are the environment support the students learning and interaction? </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Dose the discussion content match the objectives of the course? </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Dose student achieve course objectives? </li></ul></ul>
