  1. 1. Evaluation:1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge conventions of real media products?
  2. 2. For interview shots we kept theinterviewee’s at medium close ups, midshots or close. We tried to keep theinterviewee’s eye’s a third way down.We told interviewee’s to try to stay stillso there was minimal movement and sothey could be seen clearly.
  3. 3. We used a closeup of the food. Wedid this to mix upthe documentaryand use a differentshot of food beingeaten so thedocumentarywouldn’t getboring.
  4. 4. We used this archive footage(Of a Burger Kingadvert) to link the documentary andinterviews.
  5. 5. We used severalsongs in ourdocumentary,keeping the moodupbeat and positiveand so the audiencedidn’t get bored.
  6. 6. We used captions totell the audiencewho the intervieweewas, we included thename and how theyrelated to thedocumentary, weused a simple andbasic font like that ofthe documentswhich we watched.
  7. 7. For our title weused a clip of atakeaway beingeaten whichrelates to ourdocumentary andcuts up shots.
  8. 8. We structuredthe interviewto includerelevant itemsand props e.g.the cooker.
  9. 9. We used relevant backgrounds which kept inwith the theme of our documentary.
  10. 10. We kept a balanced lighting so it was easy tosee the interviewee.
  11. 11. We used a narrator throughout the documentaryto tell the audience what was happening so theydidn’t get confused, we also used the narrator tointroduce facts. In our interviews we made surethe interviewee didn’t look directly into thecamera and that there was enough space so theshot look relaxed and not squashed in. We alsopositioned the interviewee on one side andrelevant objects on the other.
