2. God is Holy . . . Pure, without any sin…
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was & is & is to come! - Revelations 4:8(b)
3. Although God is Love, He is Righteous too . . .
God loves righteousness and hates wickedness . . . Psalms 45:7(a)
4. Any transgression of the moral laws of our Holy God is sin against God Himself . . .
“Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned and done this evil in Thy sight “ - Psalm 51: 4
5. The natural consequences of sin against God is death
not only physical death of flesh & blood, but eternal death of the spirit as well . . .
The wages of sin is death . . . - Romans 6:23
6. BECAUSE GOD IS RIGHTEOUS HE DISTINGUISH BETWEEN
THE RIGHTEOUS & THE UNRIGHTEOUS
between those who desire God & honors His values by own free will
& those who oppose Him & do not want to adhere to His principles or serve Him at all
“Behold the day come
that shall burn as an oven
Unto you that fear and all the proud and all
My Name shall the that do wickedly shall be
Sun of Righteousness stubble and the day that
arise with healing in come shall burn them
His wings and He shall up, says the Lord of hosts
go forth and grow up that it shall leave them
as calves of the stall - neither root nor branch ”
Malachi 4: 2 - Malachi 4: 1
7. BECAUSE GOD IS RIGHTEOUS NO SIN WILL GO UNPUNISHED
The Lord, the Lord
God merciful and
gracious,
longsuffering and
abundant in
goodness and truth
keeping mercy for
thousands forgiving
iniquity and
transgressions and
sin & that will by
no means clear the
guilty, visiting the
iniquity of the
fathers upon the
children and upon If I confess my sins before God, He is faithful and righteous
the children's to forgive my sins, but no sin will ever go without punishment . . .
children, unto the
third and the forth
generation . . .
Exodus 34:6(b)-7
8. BECAUSE GOD IS RIGHTEOUS HE WILL ALWAYS BE FAITHFUL
TO HIS COVENANT : SIN IS PUNISHED BY DEATH . . .
9. But God is merciful & truly loves the crown of His creation . . .
He therefore became flesh & carried the death penalty on our behalf . . .
The crucifixion of
Christ demonstrates
Gods’ mercy upon us:
It demonstrates His
love & righteousness
by sacrificing His own
Son for the sins of the
world so that whom
so ever believe in
Christ will not perish
but live for ever . . .
Golgotha is the ultimate proof of the love & righteousness of God …
10. WHAT DOES THE WRATH OF GOD ENTAILS
On the cross Jesus had
no beauty that we shall
desire Him. He was
despised and rejected
of men a Man of
sorrows and
acquainted with grief
People hide their faces
from Him. He was
despised and they
esteemed Him not.
Surely He had born our
grieves and carried our
sorrows, yet, we do
not respect Him!
Suffering, smitten of
God and afflicted. . .
Jesus was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities the reprimand
of our piece was upon Him and with His stripes we are healed – Isaiah 53: 5
11. Although eternal death is a rightful punishment for our sins against the Creator God
Ezekiel 33:11 demonstrates the love of God: “As I live says the Lord God: ”I have no pleasure
in the death of the wicked but that the wicket turn from his way and live”
“Turn you, turn you from your evil ways, for why will you die?” - Ezekiel 33:11(b)
12. THE CHOICE BETWEEN LIVE & DEATH IS IN YOUR OWN HANDS . . .
On the Cross of Golgotha a reed with vinegar was positioned in the mouth of the Lord
This “stick” serves the same purpose than a scepter in the hands of a Righteous God . . .
13. THE SCEPTER IN THE HAND OF THE KIND WILL DIVIDE. . .
The Lord Jesus Christ shall judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His Kingdom
. . . II Timothy 4:1
“ For we know Him that has said revenge belongs to Me, I will reward said the Lord,
and again, the Lord shall judge His people. It is a fearful thing to fall
into the hands of the Living God.” - Hebrews 10: 30
14. The “scepter” in the Lords mouth brought both transgressors
next to Jesus Christ on the Cross at a T-junction in their lives . . .
Either you accept the Lord as your personal Savior or you reject Him forever . . .
A personal choice: Either surrender to God, confess your sins; ask for forgiveness;
and acknowledge the death of Jesus Christ who received the penalty for your sins
or carry the wrath of God yourself . . .
15. THE RESULT OF YOUR OWN PERSONAL CHOICE WILL DETERMINE YOUR DESTINY . . .
When Jesus Christ appears in His Glory all the holy angels will be with Him . . .
Jesus will be seated on His throne and all nations will gather in His presence . . .
16. All nations will be separated in the same way
that a Sheppard divides His sheep from the goats . . .
Jesus will gather His followers on His right and His opponents on His left . . ..
17. Then the King will inform His followers on His Right
to inhered the Kingdom of God . . .
The Glory of His Majesty that was prepared for those who surrendered
& served God since the creation of the world . . .
18. To those on His left, who preferred to oppose God Jesus will say:
”Go away from Me, your cursed . . .” and they will be cast into the lake of fire . . .
Their sorrows shall be multiplied, that rushed after another god: their drink offerings
of blood will I not present to God, nor will I take up their names into My lips –Psalm 16:4
19. The unrighteous will be cast into eternal hell and the righteous
will enter the Kingdom of God for eternal life . . .
20. NO SIN WILL GO UNPUNISHED . . .
What is your personal choice today : Who will pay the penalty for your sin?
CHRIST YOU
