  • Libraries can send out any kind of updates from Twitter, and feed them into their blogs.
    Twitter works very well with other 2.0 types of tools.
    You can even get an RSS feed of someone’s tweets (in fact that’s how this library did it—instead of calling them Twitter updates, they call them UGL Alerts).

  • Since you can receive Twitter updates on most mobile phones, libraries can send out updates to patrons.
    Macintosh has made it really easy to use on an iPhone by offering an app that works right on your iPhone.
