2. My music magazine, FUSION is
aimed at young women aged
between 16-30 who are avid R&B
music lovers (primary audience).
4. I decided on this target audience because in my
research I found a gap in the market for young
R&B artist fans, who were interested in the
information about R&B artists not just gossip
and lies.
5. Even though I have just produced one draft for
my media magazine, the next issues will allow
ethnicity of people to read it. It’s aimed at young
women who are avid lovers of R&B music.
6. For my masthead the bars
represent the beat of the
music, this helps readers
identify that it is a music
magazine. Also if any of the
readers in interested in the
technologies of music then
they will be attracted to this
magazine.
The clothing used on the artists are
very fashionable and expensive. This
would appeal to a social group who
are interested in R&B fashion.
Readers who are interested in
Festivals or Concerts can have a
chance to win a giveaway. The
target market will appeal to this as
they are avid R&B lovers therefore
they will always be interested in
concert or festivals. Giveaways
aren’t normally included in R&B
magazines , but I have broken this
so that it appeals to my young
target market.
