South East Coast Postgraduate Deanery for Kent, Surrey and Sussex Partnership for Leadership in Practice What is unique about the KSS Clinical Fellows Leadership Academic Programme? •Unique Deanery/Local Education Provider/ HEI Partnership •MSc Management (Leadership for Clinicians) – an academic leadership and management route Plus • A Local Education Provider [LEP] work based organisational environment supports and enhances academic learning by work based projects leading to a final project • Clinical Fellows (CFs) complete Master’s assignments and a portfolio of evidence – both mapped to leadership competencies • Thus, CFs receive dual accreditation

South East Coast Postgraduate Deanery for Kent, Surrey and Sussex Partnership for Leadership in Practice What is unique about the KSS Clinical Fellows Leadership Academic Programme? •CFs may gain awards of MSc AND Certificate of Completion for Leadership Fellows •CFs are out of programme – will broadly spend 3 days a week in LEP undertaking work based projects •CFs will spend approx. 2 days a week engaged in the taught Master’s element of the course • KSS Standards for Clinical Leadership map to and extend NHS and BAMM standards AND reflect content of MSc •Overall shared rationale is to improve patient experience, patient safety and patient outcome
