DYN New System of Learning―The DYN curriculum model is based on the reality thatwhile youth (particularly urban youth) are often disengagedwith traditional school learning… there are learningenvironments where the same youth are engaged andcommitted to the development of a set of skills.‖

It is not just something to do atleisure, but a practical, safe exploration that isessential for healthy-social by-products, as wellas many functions of the brain-includingproblem solving.

Media Literacy EducationDNY presents a media literacy educationalmodel enabling screenagers to becomediscerning new media consumers and fluentnew media producers.
DNY Performance Measurement―The DNY research project involves two relatedstrands of data collection and analysis tocapture student development with 21st centuryskills and the organizational context thatsupports this growth.‖

Recommendations for Educational Remixing• Community based media and digital education workshops for adults and parents, to better accommodate student‘s learning outside school.• Technology outreach to insure every student has full and equal accessibility to online tools and resources.• Designs curriculum to accommodate students with special learning needs.
