Bass Residence Solar PV Project

  2. 2. PROBLEM: House is not suited for a PV array. •Roofs are not facing due south; •House is designated as a contributing structure in an historic district; •Solar panels are not aesthetically compatible with an historic house.
  3. 3. SOLUTION: Relocate a Tobacco Barn to the site to serve as a PV platform • Barn can be placed facing due south for optimal orientation; • No shading issue; • South side of roof is not visible from the historic house.
