    5. 5. Why use Moodle?• Adjustments for all students - post notes, worksheets, project directions, etc.• The environment is structured versus social.• Using Moodle helps absent students see everything they missed instead of searching for it in a social environment
    6. 6. What you need to know to get started• Editing your online classroom• Embedding presentations/videos• Posting worksheets/directions• Posting assignments• Using labels
    7. 7. Step 1: Turn editing on Whenever you add anything toyour Moodle site, you must turn the editing on.

    9. 9. Embedding PresentationsClick in the “Resources” boxand choose “compose a Webpage.”- You will then see this:
    10. 10. Embedding Presentations• Give the presentation a title• There is no need to provide a description• Find a presentation from Slideshare or a video from YouTube and copy the embed code provided
