P rogram O bjectivesProviding health care for women requires a comprehensive approach thatCourse Descriptionincludes contributions from family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology,psychiatry, and internal medicine among others. Objectives of this course aredesigned to cover the spectrum of women’s health and to broaden the primarycare provider’s approach to management and treatment decisions. Selectedtopics will allow the participants to entertain new ways of thinking, therapeuticapproaches, and technologic advances in the evolving role of the primaryprovider in the care of women.Plenary sessions cover topics of broad interest. The smaller group sessionsfocus on topics of special interest and provide a forum for interaction anddiscussion among participants and the facilitator. During case study breakoutsessions, participants are invited to present cases from their own practice fordiscussion.
