  2. 2. Why do narwhals have a big tooth? Why do some people think narwhals are fake?
  3. 3. Narwhals tooth• Narwhals have a really long tooth they use for protection. Males use it to fight against each other kind of like swords.• Narwhals tusks can grow out to about 9 feet. The males tusks are bigger then the females and most of the time they have two tusks.
  4. 4. Are Narwhals Fake?• Narwhals are real. People think they are fake because either they never saw one, or they think that narwhals have a horn so it reminds them of unicorn.
  5. 5. Where do Narwhals live?• Arctic Ocean• They usually stay there, but when they DO migrate they just go to more shallow waters in the Arctic Ocean. Then when its time they go back to more deeper waters.
  6. 6. The food that narwhals eat• Scientist can’t tell exactly what narwhals eat, but this what they think they eat: – Squid – Flatfish – Greenland halibut
  7. 7. Are Narwhals endangered?• No, narwhals are not endangered, but they are hunted by polar bears, walruses, killer whales, and people. There are over 4,000 of them so they are not yet endangered.
