Adopt-A-Survivor <ul><li>Goal: Every team have at least one survivor! </li></ul><ul><li>Who is a survivor? </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Anyone who currently has or previously had cancer </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Does not necessarily have to have beaten cancer </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Survivors do not need to be present at Relay, but can be “adopted” by a team </li></ul><ul><li>If you know any survivors, invite them to the event! </li></ul><ul><li>Get their information so they can be on mailing list for free game tickets, etc. </li></ul><ul><li>** Have them to register online! </li></ul>
  10. 11. Keep up Luminaria Sales! $10/luminaria—goes towards your individual and team total Can purchase the evening of the event BUT the more by Bank Night the better!

Luminaria Speakers <ul><li>We are still in need of </li></ul><ul><li>“ speakers” who are willing </li></ul><ul><li>to share their story or </li></ul><ul><li>fight against cancer, </li></ul><ul><li>whether they battled it </li></ul><ul><li>themselves </li></ul><ul><li>or were a caregiver. </li></ul><ul><li>*They will share their story via posters, so no actual speaking is done. </li></ul>
  12. 13. Luminaria Speakers <ul><li>Just as cancer comes in many forms, so does its stories and battles. Any story, resulting in life, death, sadness or happiness is a perfect contribution to the ceremony. </li></ul><ul><li>*Please contact Allie Corrigan, Kayla Brimeyer, Charlotte Fostey, or any Relay committee member if you know anyone willing to “speak”/share their story on a poster for the Luminaria Ceremony. </li></ul>
  13. 14. Paint the Campus PURPLE <ul><li>Mon. Feb. 28 th : Look for PURPLE on campus! </li></ul><ul><li>Tues. March 1st: Wear RELAY shirt! </li></ul><ul><li>Wed. March 2 nd : Wear PURPLE ! </li></ul><ul><li>Thurs. March 3 rd : Mission Moments in Student News </li></ul><ul><li>Fri. March 4 th -March 13 th : Fundraise while you’re home for Spring Break! </li></ul>
  14. 15. 24k in 24h <ul><li>GOAL: Raise $24,000 in 24 hours this Thursday February 24th </li></ul><ul><li>Quick way to reach the minimum goal of $100 for each participant </li></ul><ul><li>Inspired by Virginia Tech who raised $24,000 in 48 hours **WAYS TO GET THE WORD OUT** </li></ul><ul><li>Send as many emails out as possible urging people to help Creighton’s Relay reach our goal! </li></ul><ul><ul><li>**The website has pre-formatted emails! = EASY! ** </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Call family and friends </li></ul><ul><li>Change Facebook status & picture </li></ul><ul><li>on Thursday to encourage everyone to </li></ul><ul><li>donate! </li></ul>

Other Fundraisers <ul><li>Encourage your team to have their own fundraiser! </li></ul><ul><li>If you have one planned, let us know so we can spread the word! </li></ul><ul><li>You will need to get it approved by the Student Activities Office </li></ul><ul><li>Personalized team t-shirts also need SAO approval </li></ul><ul><li>Ask us if you don’t know how to do this! </li></ul>
